Amarillo Right Angle Fan Drives Restored

For example, this week’s featured project highlights a couple of Amarillo Right Angle Fan Drives (model F85, 43hp/1750rpm/3.25:1 reducing) that limped in for much-needed restoration. These units were used HARD in austere environments, and it showed!

No problem: ABET technicians will take them from “rough” to “tough” in no time.

Following the intake inspection, our technicians completely disassembled the units, thoroughly cleaned all the legacy components, replaced the gear pinion bearings and lip seals and applied coating to all appropriate surfaces. After re-assembly and inspection, the refreshed units are pictured here prior to delivery to our tremendous customer.

Project complete.
