Some things are just darn handy. Like your favorite multitool or flashlight: you may not always need it, but when you do – like RIGHT NOW – it is PERFECT.
Here is a great example: the Tsurumi Submersible Trash Pump (2” discharge and ½ HP). This pump is designed to pump water containing sand, solids, and debris with minimal clogging. It is extremely compact and ready to use when you need it. Keep one at the job site or in the truck: you never know when it will be useful. When you are dealing with water (and a lot of it, in a place it should NOT be), evacuating the mess and getting to work is paramount.
