ABET recently completed two custom pump assemblies for a customer who needed project-specific equipment delivered as a complete, ready-to-install solution.
The first assembly features a Summit W95AK internal gear pump paired with a TECO 15 HP, 1800 RPM TEFC motor and mounted on a 15 × 40 channel-steel baseplate. The package was completed with a 7S flexible coupling and CGU6 coupling guard. To meet the customer’s variable-frequency-drive requirement, ABET also supplied a TECO F510-4015-C3-UE NEMA 1 15 HP VFD, packaged separately for delivery.
The second assembly features a Summit CC1 1.5 × 2-8G charge pump paired with a Worldwide Electric 3 HP, 1800 RPM TEFC 82JM motor. ABET technicians trimmed the impeller to 7.25 inches to meet the project specifications and mounted the assembly on a 12 × 32 channel-steel baseplate.
Both units were completed, inspected, and prepared for delivery along with the separately packaged VFD.
