Peerless 1500 GPM Pump Rebuilt and Ready — Routine Maintenance

This week’s featured project involved a 1500 GPM Peerless Pump (model F2-1250AM) that we received which required routine maintenance. This job demanded additional grit with respect to disassembly and fitting but we love a good challenge!

After the intake inspection, our technicians got straight to work. They replaced the mechanical seal, bearings, shaft hardware, lip seals and shaft sleeve using Summit™ parts which are engineered to fit most major brands (such as this Peerless) and provide tremendous value, both economically and in reduced delivery time. Finally, they reassembled the pump, hydro tested it, and the skid was blasted and coated so it was ready to be placed back in service.
