For example, featured this week is a recent project involving a Goulds 3175S (3×6-14) refurbishment using interchangeable Summit 2175 parts (pictured while a work-in-progress and after final assembly). The project included installing a shaft kit and new 316 SS shaft as well as an ASI mechanical seal. The team also replaced the gaskets, stuffing box, breather, and O-rings. ABET technicians then rejoined and aligned to the original TECO 30HP, 1800 RPM TEFC motor. The entire assembly rests on the original base, now sporting a fresh coat of paint.
