Precision Laser Alignment on Custom Summit 2196 Pump Skids

A quick foreshadowing of another neat project completed by ABET technicians!

Pictured here is one of our skilled technicians using our Easy Laser e450 to complete a shaft alignment on one (of two) skids we recently built. ALL UNITS BUILT AT ABET WILL HAVE LASER ALIGNMENT PERFORMED PRIOR TO SHIPPING.

As a preview, this project features Summit 2196 STO 1×1.5-8 pumps mated to WEG 10HP motors all mounted on CUSTOM skids designed by ABET. To complete the build, an ASI double style mechanical seal will be piped into an ASI seal pot for an API plan 52. The full project will be unveiled in the next post!
