For example, featured this week is one of the many quick repairs we routinely perform for our great customers. This project focused on a Summit 2196 MTO that needed interior part replacement and a bit of refreshment. ABET technicians disassembled the unit and conducted a thorough inspection. This pump needed a full refit, so they installed new bearings, bearings carrier, shaft, labyrinth seals, and gaskets which SUMMIT offers in the form of a SHAFT KIT. One part in inventory instead of 16. Following reassembly and a final inspection, they finished with a fresh application of paint.
