“Practice makes perfect” as the sayings goes. However, practice plus experience equals VALUE and that is our goal with every project.
For example, our featured project this week is a build consisting of a Summit ANSI 2196MTO (2×3-10) end suction centrifugal pump in CD4 construction mated to a WEG 10hp/1800rpm 215T frame 460v motor. This build also features a 316ss solid shaft, CD4 taper bore oversized seal chamber, ASI model 585-1 TCvsSC/viton cartridge seal and TB Wood’s SC6 spacer coupling with a cylindrical steel coupling guard. The entire assembly is mounted on a cast iron base plate with a 1.75” motor riser and is displayed prior to preparation for delivery.
