Custom Summit 2196STO Pump Package Delivered by ABET

This week’s featured project consists of a Summit 2196STO 1.5×3-6 ANSI end-suction pump in 316SS construction with 150# flanges, a 316SS solid shaft, a 316SS impeller (trimmed to 5.25”), and a 316SS taper bore oversized stuffing box. ABET technicians installed an ASI 1.375 model 525-2 CvsSC/viton cart seal, TB Wood’s 6SC35 space coupling and Unigard cylindrical nonmetallic guard. The pump is mated to a Crown Triton 10HP/3600RPM TEFC Severe Duty 215T frame 460v motor with the entire assembly mounted to a Basetek Poly-Concrete base. The finished project is pictured here prior to final preparation for delivery.
