ABET technicians recently completed a full overhaul of a Cornell 8NHPP specialty pump, combining standard replacement work with local fabrication capability.
After disassembly and inspection, the team replaced the packing, bearings, lip seals, gaskets and fasteners. They also fabricated a new shaft and sleeve locally and repaired the stuffing-box threads.
The pump was reassembled, inspected and prepared for delivery. Local specialty work helps customers shorten turnaround time, reduce downtime and return critical equipment to service faster.
